As Crytek promised us not so long ago, the CryENGINE 3’s full SDK was released today allowing people full access to the powerful engine. This means the CryENGINE will be joining the ranks of UDK and Unity in the market for affordable engines for Indie developers and people looking to learn Games Design. The engine is free to download and use for anybody but if you plan on selling your end product then Crytek requires 20% of Royalties in exchange for the Indie licence. A small price to pay for one of the most beautiful game engines out there.
