Eight years ago the first stable version of the highly acclaimed Eve of Destruction mod for Battlefield 1942 was released. In that time the development team have continued to nurture and improve the mod. This release sees further improvements and additions to the mod. With 8 new maps to play on, older players will be sure to find this release refreshing, especially when they have several new toys to play with including the IL-28 aircraft and the HAWK rocket system. Along with these additions comes numerous big fixes and AI updates that continue to improve this old gem.
