It’s not everyday that something comes out in the modding scene without having had any time in the public prior to release. The release of Wings of the Federation has come with zero warning of the existence of the mod and we aren’t complaining. Wings of the Federation is one of the first full custom campaigns for the popular Space Sim Freelancer and offers players who enjoyed the original campaign something new to play through and complete. It boasts new voice-acting, fast-paced difficult game-play and a custom universe created for the campaign.
For anyone getting there hopes up for new custom content such as new ships and weapons then unfortunately this mod doesn’t come with anything like that but it is still definitely worth a look.
